The Gear Belt

The Gear Belt is a wide basque belt with multiple pockets, designed to bring a functional layer to any outfit.
Its two press studs allow the belt to be fastened at two levels, so it can be worn on the true waist or lower on the hips for two distinct silhouettes.
It features a welt pocket with concealed zip on the right hand side for easy access; a gusset patch pocket with a flap on the left hand side; and a concealed card pocket on the inside, accessible from the top edge when worn.
Fully lined, it works equally well over trousers or to cinch the waist of a dress — adding a sculptural element to any outfit while keeping your essentials close to hand.

For the Gear Belt, choose a mid-weight woven fabric, or a thin leather or faux leather. Suitable options include canvas, denim, tailoring wool, coated nylon, and faux or real leather of 0.5–1mm thickness.
You will also need a lining fabric. We recommend a lightweight cotton lining, though silky options such as cupro, viscose, or acetate will also work.
