Every Àlamain pattern is paired with a selection of curated, high-quality fabrics, chosen for their drape, texture and ability to enhance the design's silhouette. Our fabrics are sourced from luxury deadstock, recycled materials and premium natural fibers, giving makers access to responsible, long-lasting textiles that sew beautifully.
What’s included in our PDF sewing patterns?
All Àlamain downloadable PDF sewing patterns include:
- Printable pattern files in A0, A4 and US Letter. The files are layered so you can print only the size you need.
- A full printing guide, explaining how to print at home or in a copy shop
- A digital instruction booklet with detailed diagrams
- Access to a step-by-step video tutorial on YouTube
How to print your PDF pattern?
You can print your PDF pattern at home or at a copy shop, whichever suits your workflow best.
- Copy shop printing: bring the A0 file and ask them not to scale the artwork. Check the 10x10 cm scale box.
- Home printing: open the A4 or US Letter file on your computer, select your size layer only, and choose Do not scale. Check the 5x5 cm test box for accuracy.

Are seam allowances included in your patterns?
Yes. All Àlamain patterns include seam allowances, clearly specified in the instruction booklet.
Which units are used in your patterns?
Measurements are provided in millimeters (mm), centimeters (cm) and meters (m).
Which sizes are included in your patterns?
Our patterns use UK sizing, with ranges detailed on each product page. We include body measurement charts and finished garment measurements to help you choose confidently.
We currently cover UK sizes 4-18 and are expanding our range. If your size isn't available, we welcome your feedback via our contact form.
How do I choose the right size?
Compare the finished garment measurements with a piece you already own for the most accurate fit.
Can I buy a PDF pattern and order fabric at the same time?
Yes. Each pattern includes fabric recommendations, and many designs are paired with curated materials to help you easily match pattern and fabric.
